Nya Phillips is currently a fourth-year theatre performance student at Tulane University.  She is  a non-union actor who has focused primarily on the stage, and has a passion for the incredible magic of live theatre! For nearly a decade, she have studied and performed while working on voice and acting techniques including Fitzmaurice Voicework, Suzuki Method of Actor Training, and Stanislavski's System. Nya has always had a love for discovery in the process and finding different ways to connect with the characters that she has played, and she is excited to continue developing as an actor.
